About INSTRUCTIBLZ™

Innovation begins by questioning what already exists.

INSTRUCTIBLZ is developed by New Icons Design, a UK innovation studio led by founder and creative director Patrick Astwood.

New Icons Design

The studio behind the platform.

New Icons Design explores how original thinking, product design and emerging technology can transform familiar challenges into entirely new possibilities.

Our work begins with the belief that innovation should not simply improve existing systems. Sometimes it should fundamentally rethink how people interact with them.

INSTRUCTIBLZ is a reflection of that philosophy.

Why INSTRUCTIBLZ exists

What if expertise could accompany you?

Most people facing an unfamiliar task depend on manuals, videos, lengthy training, supervision or an experienced colleague. Those resources hold knowledge—but they generally cannot respond to the specific state of the task being performed.

We believe knowledge should be easier to access, easier to understand and available at the moment a person needs it. INSTRUCTIBLZ is designed to bring that support directly into the task: clear instructions, relevant explanations and answers to questions, while someone learns and while they work.

The intelligence behind the experience

INSTRUCTIBLZ is the experience.
THINX is the intelligence.

THINX is our patent-pending procedural intelligence engine. It is designed to represent an approved procedure, follow progress through it and determine the guidance that should come next.

KNOW

Represents the approved procedure: its steps, prerequisites, expected outcomes and required checks.

SEE

Evaluates supported observations—cameras, markers, sensors or user confirmations—against what the current step expects, identifying progress, discrepancies or uncertainty.

GUIDE

Provides the next instruction, answers procedure-specific questions and supports correction when something does not match.

Development progress

Genuine engineering. Reported results.

Development of THINX is led by engineer Óscar Palomar. In controlled October 2026 testing on Vuzix M300 smart glasses, the engine guided a five-step assembly procedure to completion, recognised a procedural error within approximately two seconds and supported recovery.

Separate simulations completed the four-step GRUBBAN procedure across every session, running on an unchanged THINX core—evidence that the engine architecture transfers between procedures rather than being built for one task.

These are genuine development achievements from controlled testing. The full evidence, and the distinction between tested behaviour and browser illustrations, is set out on the Experience page.

The long-term vision

“A Starlink for procedural intelligence.”

Imagine a world in which practical knowledge is available wherever people work.

  • A maintenance engineer encountering an unfamiliar machine.
  • A healthcare worker learning a new procedure.
  • A technician resolving a problem far from specialist support.
  • A consumer repairing equipment they have never seen before.

Different people. Different environments. Different tasks. One underlying procedural intelligence platform.

New Icons Design aims to make that vision accessible through INSTRUCTIBLZ.

A colloquial comparison of ambition only—no affiliation with Starlink or SpaceX is implied.

Your procedures. Your challenges. Intelligent guidance.

Whatever your sector, tell us where people need better training, clearer instructions or practical support. Let’s explore how INSTRUCTIBLZ™ could be adapted to your procedures.
